Even though this vital life source seems so simple, you may be surprised to know that several studies reveal as much as half of the population is not drinking enough water. Needless to say, chronic dehydration is common and can be the root of many common health issues and complaints. As the weather warms up, and the flowers start to bloom, we wanted to share 5 way's to stay hydrated this Spring with you!
1. Try water infusions!
Also known as "spa water". It's super easy, and makes drinking water more fun! Simply add cut up fruits, veggies, and herbs to a large container of water to infuse flavor, as well as nutrients. Keep a jug of this in the fridge and you'll be looking forward to getting your water quota in for the day! You can make your water infusion with any combination you feel inspired to, but here are some tasty ideas to get you started.
- For a sweeter infusion try adding a little NuStevia, plain or flavored.

Just try to stay away from using fruit juices as your base because they add extra sugar without all the good fiber you get when your blending the whole fruit. 3. Switch things up with a healthy homemade lemonade!
As the weather gets warmer, lemonade stands the test of time as a family favorite. The only problem is many lemonades are loaded with sugar, making them about as healthy and hydrating as a can of soda. - ¾ cup fresh squeezed lemon juice
- ¼ cup NuStevia White Stevia Powder
- 7 –8 cups cold water
- Fresh blended fruit may be added!
4. Soda water counts as water too!
You can doctor up plain old seltzer water to create a much healthier alternative to other carbonated beverages. The possibilities are endless with this one... Simply take your favorite flavored or unflavored NuStevia product, and sweeten some seltzer water to your desired taste. You can also include a squeeze of fresh citrus, or splash of fresh juice, and add a fancy garnish for fun.
5. Always keep your refillable bottle with you!
Drinking more water is all the more convenient when you always have something to drink with you. A lot of people get bored drinking just plain water.
