The Benefits of Juicing

AND, this can add nutrients to your diet because the juice from fruits and vegetable actually holds most of the vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients that make eating whole fruits and vegetables so healthy.

But what’s so great about these vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients? They may actually help protect the body increase immunity and fight against serious health issues.

Beyond long-term effects, juicing can provide immediate effects on the body. The mixture of fruits and vegetables in a juice make it a low-fat drink, while still providing some calories from the fruits. This can fuel your body and potentially give you that extra kick of energy your body may need. So adding juicing to complement your current diet is a great way to add some extra nutrients all in one enjoyable drink!

Breakfast Zinger:
  • 2 lemons, peeled
  • 2 carrots, chopped
  • 2 apples, quartered
  • 2 beets, chopped

  • ½ lemon, peeled
  • 3 large carrots
  • 3 leaves basil
