Bulletproof Keto Mocha Milkshake with Magic Shell Topping

Did you hop on the whipped coffee craze and now find yourself with more instant coffee than you know what to do with? Are you looking for a morning beverage that will wake you up and keep you feeling full until lunch without a sugar crash? Look no further than this bulletproof mocha milkshake to add your healthy morning routine every now and then. 

Milkshake Ingredients:

  • 1 cup non-dairy milk of choice (almond milk or oat milk work especially well)
  • ½ cup full-fat coconut milk 
  • 1 avocado
  • 2 tbsp NuNaturals Organic Cocoa Dutch Process
  • 4 tsp instant coffee
  • 10 drops Vanilla NuStevia (more or less to taste)
  • 2 cups ice cubes
  • 1 tbsp NuNaturals Collagen Peptides
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional additional toppings: dark chocolate shavings, chocolate-covered espresso beans, coconut flakes, etc.

Magic Shell Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp coconut oil, melted
  • 2 tbsp NuNaturals Organic Cocoa Dutch Process
  • 1 tbsp NuStevia Pourable Chocolate Syrup

Directions:

  1. To make magic shell: in a small microwave-safe bowl, add coconut oil and microwave in 15-second increments until liquid. (If making this recipe in the summer, you can probably skip this step. Yay!) To melted coconut oil, stir in Pourable chocolate syrup and cocoa dutch process until smooth. If you’re going all in and decorating your glasses, drizzle magic shell along the top edge of your milkshake glasses and put on a plate (to catch any drips), then put in the freezer until fully set (approximately half an hour). Otherwise, proceed to step two and pour over the milkshakes once blended.
  2. To make milkshakes: add all milkshake ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth and creamy. Add more ice to thicken if needed or more coconut if it is too thick. Pour into two glasses and top with your favorite toppings.
  3. Enjoy ASAP as the magic shell will not stay set for very long!
