Ingredients
- 1.5 oz dark rum
- 1.5 oz light rum
- 1 oz fresh lime juice
- 1 oz fresh orange juice
- 1 oz passion fruit juice (or unsweetened passion fruit purée)
- ½ oz grenadine (unsweetened or homemade)
- 6–10 drops NuNaturals Clear Liquid Stevia, to taste
- Ice
- Orange slice
- Pineapple slice
- Luxardo cherry or maraschino cherry
Optional Ingredients
Directions
- 1.Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
- 2.Add dark rum, light rum, lime juice, orange juice, passion fruit juice, grenadine, and NuNaturals Clear Liquid Stevia.
- 3.Shake well for 15–20 seconds until very cold.
- 4.Strain into a hurricane glass or tall glass filled with fresh ice.
- 5.Garnish with a pineapple slice, cherries or orange. Serve immediately.
Optional: Quick Homemade Sugar-Free Grenadine
- If you want to go fully refined-sugar-free:
- ½ cup unsweetened pomegranate juice
- 6–10 drops NuNaturals Clear Liquid Stevia
- Simmer gently for 5–7 minutes until slightly thickened. Cool completely before using.

Stevia Tip
Start with 6 drops, taste, then add more if needed. Hurricanes should be bright and fruity, not overly sweet — stevia goes a long way.
